About Sancus Property

Tony Riddle and Mark O’Neill, the principals of Sancus Property, are long-term investors in commercial and industrial property. They know the drivers that deliver great property investment. They know what works, and what doesn’t work.

And their experience – hardened by the realities of real life knowledge over nearly two decades – is the essence of Sancus Property, a company that takes the hard work out of property management and delivers value to your investments.

In essence, Sancus will manage your property as if they own it themselves.

Tony Riddle and Mark O’Neill don’t come from a traditional property background. They have both been involved in a range of small and medium-sized businesses over the past 30 years – from consultancies to agricultural chemical businesses.

But they know about property investment.

The aim of Sancus is to ensure their managed properties are fully leased. To do this, Tony and Mark will engage with whichever agents they believe can get the job done. Their core business is managing your property – not collecting commissions on sales and leases.

They realise the application of new technology in their business processes will deliver better outcomes for their customers, lower tenant costs and maximum returns. To this end they appointed a chief technology officer in mid-2017.

Sancus was created in November 2014, with the simple philosophy that they could manage property more effectively than most investors, and that they would prove their worth by delivering outstanding results.

  • Financial reports issued on request to the owner or an accountant nominated by the owner.
  • Six-monthly inspections of your property.

Q When, and how, do I get updated about the condition of my property?

An inspection is conducted every six months. A detailed inspection report, with photos and suggestions for maintenance, is emailed to you, the owner.

Q. What other reporting options are there?

We can tailor reports to your requirements. As an example general reports are listed below:

  • Correspondence report documenting all conversations between the tenant/owner via a date option
  • Tenancy schedules
  • Outgoings budget reporting
  • Owner’s statement
  • Financial details of owner’s transactions by a date range

Q. When do you process the owner payments?

In other words, when do I receive my rental income? Disbursements are processed monthly, on the last day of the month. Owner statements are emailed to the owner and to the owner’s nominated accountant.
